some lighter moments 'round here...
Emory is keeping us in stitches around here these days. Here are a few conversation snippets with the big girl:
1.) Emory loves to act out the princess stories. One evening she wanted to play Snow White, but was having a hard time engaging her parents in play. Daddy was bathing Ethan and I was on the computer getting last minute coupons before heading out to Wal-Mart sans kids. She had been lying on the floor waiting for the prince (Daddy) to kiss her. Ethan and I were dwarves. I was Busy and Ethan was Chunky. Finally, out of frustration she sat up, looked at me and said, "You know, Dwarves don't have computers."
2.) Daddy asked if he could watch Tom & Jerry with her this morning and she replied, "Uh-huh. I'll make room for your big buns."
3.) With Daddy, in the check-out line at Home Depot this weekend she politely asked if she could pinch the buns of the man in front of her. Later, when asked why she wanted to pinch his buns, she shrugged and said, "They just looked pinchable."
