the Emory song...

(Sung to the tune of B-I-N-G-O)

There was a sweetpea that I knew
And her name was Emory
E-M-O-R-Y
E-M-O-R-Y
E-M-O-R-Y
And her name was EMORY!

We've sung this song to Emory since she was only a couple of weeks old. One of our favorite things to do is pause here and there and let her fill in the blanks with the appropriate word. It usually ends up sounding something like the Mockingbird song sequence from Dumb and Dumber. However, it is always good for a laugh around here. Tonight we were singing while Emory was in the bathtub and this is what she came up with:

Mommy: There was a sweetpea that I knew and her name was....?
Emory: JACOB!
